CCA: Infocomm Club
As a member of Infocomm Club in Nanyang Girls' High (NYICC) since Secondary One, the training I've received, as well as numerous opportunities to take part in competitions pertaining to robotics and videography, have not only pushed me to improve on my technical IT skills, but also instil invaluable qualities such as responsibility, punctuality and strict self-discipline.
This page showcases some of my most memorable experiences during my time in Nanyang Infocomm Club.
Robocup 2015, Hefei, China
Having won the Cospace category in Robocup Singapore Open 2015, my teammates and I were given the opportunity to take part in the Robocup 2015 in Hefei, China. We are very honored and excited to be able to represent Singapore in this International competition, as well as to interact with many counterparts from around the world who share the same interest as us. We’ll certainly try our very best to excel ourselves and make Singapore proud.

Robocup Singapore Open 2015
Clinching Champions in the Cospace Rescue Category
Robocup 2015 was a truly enriching journey for me. Since this was most probably the last year taking part in Robocup for 3 out of 4 members of the team including myself, and we had taken part in dance twice before already, we decided to take on the challenge to try out another category – Cospace Rescue. It wasn’t easy, because the programme, fields used and format for this new category was completely new to us. The 4 of us also had many different commitments, making it hard for us to learn the new programme thoroughly. Nevertheless, we tried our very best both before and during the competition, refining our programme even till the very last minute. We stayed united as a team, and stay determined as we progressed through the competition from the prelims, top 8, top 4 to eventually the finals. And when eventually clinched the first place, the sense of satisfaction we felt was indescribable. This experience proved to me, that anything is possible as long as we tried and did our best, and that hard work does pay off.
